Back to the Grind
I don't have any pictures of late. I am back to work, teaching some of the Elementary English teachers of Korea. We talk about methodology and pedagogy, but mostly we are gathered under the ruse of “Conversation”. It sounds pretty easy, getting groups of people to chat as a main part of making a living, but it can be stressful. I won’t bore anyone with the details…but standing around all day being sure that everyone is talking about what they are supposed to be talking about in the correct way of talking about that…can be a bit strenuous.
I think that it is a pretty good job, and the people in my classes seem pretty nice and laid back. I think that it should be a good time.
I joined a boxing gym last week. I had no idea of what goes on in these places. I got into it on the advice of Terry of Daegu;) It is a bit bizarre. Either that or the trainer at the gym is trying to kill me slowly. Who would have thought that skipping rope and hopping around in front of a mirror for hours could be so rough on a human body?! I don’t think that I would call it fun, but it is fulfilling.
Other than that, I am just monkeying around the country by motorcycle, car, taxi and train(there was even a high speed boat to Japan for Terry’s bachelor party; a total blastJ.
